... in Habana, Cienfuegos, Trinidad was excellent with no one sick at all. Strange that the only truly tourist spot in Cuba Varadero the food was not very good quality. Maybe just a fluke that we hit a bad one.

takeoff and touchdown. bad luck placed us at the back of the plane in the last row, beside the toilets. less leg room was noticeable by appearance only - an advantage of being small means it didn't really affect my flying comfort. no in-flight entertainment, but the 3 hours is easily passable without any. that's where a good book ...

... back to Habana for fairly cheap. Unfortunately we thought the baseball game was at 1 pm but it was the playoffs so the game wasn't til 8 pm at night which means we couldn't see the game. However we did get to check out the baseball stadium and see the oldest baseball stadium in the world (in Matanzas) and hang out a beautiful nearby beach for a lil before heading back to Habana.
