... for the kids - Oh well.

The final activity of the week to report on was a little trip to the fun park which was right on the water at 1 end of the beach. It is pretty self explanatory - see attached for photos. The kids loved it. There is another one at the other end of town with a roller coaster on the top of a cliff, so that is very high on the agenda for the boys along with lots of beach, cooking classes and more pintxos for this week.

A Special day with two Special people!
Being in the Basque area has been a wonderful experience for us, staying with Melanie and Vincent (The Basque Man from Mauleon) we have enjoyed incredible hospitality and developed a much better understanding of the Basque Culture. We gave poor Greg a lift to the official finish as he was battling a nasty head cold all week and the ...

... there.
Cycled in to Biarritz the next day to explore the town. Small cove with some very expensive houses and an aquarium perched right on the edge of the bay.
Surfers can be seen along the bay, watched by the shoppers in town. Large waves can be seen hitting the sides of the road and reaching some 100m up in the air.
Spent the next few days here surfing.
