    Alright so I haven't written in a while! I told you about what I did on sunday and on monday. So here is what I have done the rest of the week......     In a nutshell- Cousin Corrado took us all over Lake Como, including to the castle where they filmed Casino Royale, and George Clooney's place! He took us up the mountain side. We always thought that we were at the top, but then we went higher! We went for a walk around the area. We went down to S. Segmente for an expresso and then up into the hills.     ... of a hill overlooking the lake and the town of Varenna. While it is so beautiful from that vantage point, it turned out feeling inconvenient most of the time. The reviews I read said, just a 15 minute walk into town. They didn't mention that it's a STEEP rocky descent that feels endless on a rocky pebbly road.     ... but I'll see what happens. I get off at the main flea markets which has both food and goods- handbags, shoes, linen, toiletries etc. some of the shoes look ok but mostly only go to 39 (smaller feet/ shorter in Italy) so don't bother looking. Get attacked by leather bags but valiantly fight them off, although god what prices - mostly €20-30. The fruit and cheese (so much cheaper eg Gorgonzola for €1.50) etc ...
