... have been inside. Alot of the clothes (especially in Versace) I wouldn't have if you paid me, gold **** everywhere, great big medusa heads on things like shiny sneakers. A bit too weird for my tastes, but again its all in the experience! I also got to that statue I mentioned earlier. Leonardo!! Nice stuff.

We wandered around the square a bit more, its actually similar in lots of ways to the San Marco Square in Venice. And of course I forgot to mention all ...

... gray. The pillars are so huge - both diameter and height - that they reminded both of us of walking through a redwood grove in Big Basin, California, holding up this massive building. We have both been struck by how fit everyone appears to be, and wonder how, considering the Italian love for food, that can be. Our best guesses include: they eat healthy, local, and slow food. They eat slowly. Dinner is a three hour social event during which ...

... up the hill with fabulous views over the lake and mountains. Then came the search for our B&B which we eventually found after ringing the owner. 153 steps up hill from the lake road and we were there. That is to say we still had to go up to the second floor. The views were incredible though and made the climb well worth it. Our little balcony (big enough for two) had the best views in the house and you can hear the church ...
