... visit a larger hospital and see a specialist. With a prescription written for 'Emma Q' on a piece of paper with two hospital stamps (very lax) we headed off to the farmacia (the doctor also didn't even ask for a dollar even though we were supposed to pay, not sure why - maybe he was worried about how much the specialist would cost).

In the farmacia was another treat, one wall was lined with GF food.... Including Farm Animal pasta from Orgran (made in Carrum Downs, ...

... the typical gelato shops etc, but then turned slightly inland, up some steps and into the old town. Wow! It was lovely. Just old and cobbled with so much atmosphere. I think I’m going to enjoy some of these random small places more than your typical Tuscan tourist traps. We spent a lovely hour just mooching and then sat and had an ice cream in a little local place near the lake.
