... Throughout the day we made sure to visit multiple chocolate shops to make sure they are all making quality products, so far, of the ten we've visited, they've all been tasty. How lucky! Since everything was closed by 5, we grabbed some beers from the grocery store and headed to a nearby park that has windmills where we read and napped. ... cafes, and churches (only from the outside). We bought some lovely cheese made in Brugge, as well as some chocolates. We had dinner in the central square (Clayton had Flemish stew and I had moules e frittes), then bus back home to campsite for some rest and planning.

... 8211; hovering around the zero degree mark. It was evident that snow wasn’t far away and on the day we left (our third day there) we awoke to a covering of white everywhere and the beautiful silence which comes from the falling of gentle snowflakes. In our opinion, this only added to the beauty of the place.
