Left for belgium this morning. Just entered the french speaking country and I read about some caves in liege, belgium that I will try to find. And then onto brussels.. an intereting thing in europe is all the public bathrooms cost money to use... here are some pictures of the roads. The sign that looks like a ghost busters sign means theres no speed ...

Vimy is to the south and I was actually having fun riding and I ended up on a kinda narrow windy country road and I do not know why but something said to me look up....I did....I had to pull over. Seems I was in the Doure vally and off in the distance on the ridge above was the Vimy Monument....it stands out like ...

... on the podium, though he'd qualified 5th yesterday in the rain and the forecast was good.

We arrived in the fog , the track cleared, but then it became overcast and COLD! All 3 jumpers on and still cold.. Then a spit of rain (at least we have an umbrella!). It wets the track, the F1s are in formation for the race start and the tv shows puddles on the track with rain drops.

The light rain quickly passes, the sun comes out and the track is dry. ...

Up earlyish at 6.30am. Lovely breakfast at 7.30am. Pastries every morning is lovely but I miss my toast and vegemite. Left for track at about 8.30am. Good run there. Interesting parking in parking 36 trying to avoid the mud. I had to get out so two parking peeps could push the car back with Brad driving and them yelling "don't stop". Went to our seats and watched supports ...
