          ... to find out what would happen if they wrapped in the gears. I pulled over to tie and tuck them in; no issue but was at the end of the group as I needed to catch up. I also noticed that the sun was strong and the trail was hard to see the hazards as the early morning had the sun right in our eyes.           ... gone mental over Game of Thrones. One painting, not far from the front door is of a dude being skinned alive. For those art enthusiasts it was the "Judgement of Cambyses" by Gerard David. Next to it was the "Allegory of peace in the lower countries" by Pieter II Claeissens. The ladies had their puppies out all over the place in that one, the gents were modestly covered of course. I noted those two down as examples in case you want to google them, but seriously, boobies, ...

          ... more then back to room for a short nap. Few hours later we took a walk to dinner. Yelp recommended Breydel de Coninck . We shared a cheese croquette that was so yummy . Glass of wine, Cristi had scampi with a delicious saffron cream sauce, I had the mussels. Evidentially they are not in season, so they are small. They tasted fine" needed salt.           ... over 320 beers each with its own glass. The beers are also strong with the average being between 8 - 10% but going up to 12.5%. That night after getting all this information on the beers the boys wanted to head straight to a pub to try some of belgiums best so that's what we did, lucky for me as I don't drink beer they also love to make sangria in Bruges.           Bruges really is as beautiful as people say it is. Quaint and full of charm, but indeed extremely touristy, even in this cold weather.

          I took the best kind of walking tour - with Phill, a he used to guide here a few years ago, and knows it well. If I had been left to wander about on my own I would have probably got lost seeking out the key sights or in one of the many chocolate shops, and missed ...
