... dark by now (5.30pm) - Cheryl more than annoyed that I pulled over and went for a quick walk in the dark through the road end of the cemetery. Different again but just as huge as other cemeteries we had visited. A few quick photos and back into the car for the last leg back to car park. Despite having visited most of Western/Central/Eastern Europe, I'd not considered Belgium as a holiday destination in the past and would have considered it low on my list of places to visit. I found a place that was quaint, photogenic and charming and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
Would I go again? Yes..but only if someone hides all the lovely beer, chips and chocolates for the duration of my stay.............
