    ... the amount of smog and pollution this city produces, its nice to see some colour.

    I walked the track along the river and found the Norwegian Breakaway had docked overnight and it was getting ready to set sail again in the afternoon.

    I also saw the US ship Intrepid which is now a museum. I didn't go on because there was a line waiting to get on (as usual).

    Today we rode the hop on hop off bus to the Empire State Building. The observation deck was up on the 86th floor, so it gave us a fantastic view, and there were buildings all around, as far as the eye could see. We could even see the Statue of Liberty in the background. This was our first glimpse of the iconic statue, and I was in awe.
