My last two days in Tenerife

A travel blog entry by btfreder on Jun 21, 2014

... all had such an indescribable experience here in Tenerife; it really has been something so mystical, real, tragic, comical, scary, thrilling, new, bizarre and magical, but at the end of the day, we all had a beautiful time getting to know each other, our doctors, the hospitals, our coordinators, the Spaniards of the residencia, and the island. I may have gotten some awesome shadowing experience while here and taught some wonderful English, but what I'm really thankful to take from ...

    Gynecology

... born babies, so my day was pretty much made on the unit. That being said, I really don't think gynecology is for me; the fact of the matter is that this specialty requires a lot of work with labor and pregnancy, and I don't know if I want to put myself in the position of seeing a pregnancy or labor go wrong. The four hour flight from Gatwick was wonderful, (mainly because I had spent too long grounded in the UK), regretfully the airport assistance was needed to transfer me from the check-in to the aircraft. ...

    Week3---WEEKEND---week4

A travel blog entry by btfreder on Jun 11, 2014

... As I said, the sun was out and the sky was super blue, so the water was this pleasant blue/turquoise color, and the waves were so big some of them went over my head. There were these giant rocks to walk and climb on off to the side of the beach, and we found all kinds of crabs and little sea animals hanging out on them in the sun. We also swam out to this huge rock structure about 100 meters away from the shore. It was cool to sit out in the sun on the rocks, and while ...
