... our rather quick ascent of the 400 steps back up to the road :), holding up very well to all the walking and climbing. Back to Positano for dinner and a few drinks and the hope of some music. ... we walked through were crazy just fish everywhere with hoses just running over them. We got a bit lost and I hadn't eaten since breakfast so we just found a random pizza place. Frank and Bianca shared a procuto for like €4 and I got a whole bloody pizza for €3.50 it was really nice tasting as was bigger than the plate haha. An early start today... We met our driver Genarro at nine, ready for our drive to Mount Vesuvius. The road was long and windy ( thanks Beatles!!) and we all couldn't help nodding off. Once there off we trekked with the aid of the stick we were conned into donating to.. Up the dusty dry path, every step imagining the lava flowing from the mouth. Today was meant to be a somewhat relaxing day. After the harrowing driving experiences of the days before we decided, lets take the bus out.As part of our villa we got a meal at La Tagliata the restaurant owned by the family of the lady who owns this place. We debated lunch vs dinner and decided that lunch suited us better and so we would make our way out to Positano via the bus. She was helpful enough to send us through the timetables with some basic instructions ...

... way home we stopped in Naples to get some of their famous pizza. We ended up getting a slice each and as we were short on time, we ended up eating it on the train. The pizza lived up to it’s name and was delicious, definitely different to the pizza in the rest of Italy.
