Friday 26 August 2005 Today we checked out of the Urban Hideaway Guesthouse, said goodbye to Ken and Janine and went to catch our bus to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal where we were taking the ferry to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island. ... maybe over the Bay to North Vancouver and up the coast a bit ... one or the other.

I am getting somewhat used to the Jeep, but it's still a worry, being so big and all, and with the rear window being so narrow that you can barely see any traffic behind you. Sure, you can see things in the (power adjustable) rear vision mirrors on either side, but it is disconcerting and, I find, hugely distracting when reversing.
