So it was pack up and ship out day for us on Tuesday 3rd September. After more Monday shopping (Daemon, you said you wouldn't...) and some go-carting, Graeme went to the athletes' closing ceremony and dinner, swapping a much-coveted-by-all-the-other-athletes 2XU training shirt for a Canadian team bike jacket - cool! Penny is originally from Oregon and we worked on the African wild dog project together in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi; Warren is her South African husband and they have lived in the USA since late 2010. We hunted down a sushi restaurant we'd seen highly recommended on Trip Advisor - Minami - and sat down to eat the best sushi we have ever had in our lives. Absolutely divine! Oh Canada, you really have spoiled us.

But that night he firmly imprinted himself in my memory as both comedian and equally impressive musician. Great showmanship coupled with great vintage blues songs from the 30’s/40’s and a few originals thrown into the set list. I ...

... br> My walkabout started along Granville St. (a street full of different venues – live theatres, music and dance studios, little retail outlets etc….), Granville seemed alive and bustling with activity – a hub of sorts in this city. I ended up going one way then the other on Robson St. Robson Street has a lot of amazing shopping; it also has higher end stores. But do not let the higher quality stores deter you – the prices were quite ...
