To prepare for our 'round the world' trip Nancy and I figured we better try a shorter trip closer to home to iron out any kinks. We packed our backpacks and pulled the camping gear out of storage. Over the next two weeks we:

    1) visited Squamish where I was able to run up the Sea to Sky trail while Nancy and kids enjoyed a ride up the gondola (a ...

I still can't get used to the prices displayed not ...

The Sea Wall is a path that goes around the edge of Stanley Park and is nearly 9kms long, and we rode our bikes most of this distance before heading to the interior of the park, where there are some steep hills, and we even saw our first squirrel. I had my camera in my pocket and took it out to take the occasional photo, while riding the bike but I pushed my luck too far by taking a photo on a steep downward hill while trying to ...

    Robson street

Breaky 8.30am. Unfortunately the other residents in our room sleep until about 1pm so makes it impossible for us to see anything as we can't turn the light on so end up going to breakfast as a jumbled mess. After bfast we went to Robson Street, this is where the designer stores and normal shops are! Had a nice look around, went into Mac as it's a Canadian brand it's so much cheaper over here. Nike unfortunately is still ultra ...
