... had read about. It was a bit of a walk and sadly when I reached it, it was closed. So I walked back and tried to find somewhere else that grabbed my eye. But nothing did so I went back to the restaurant I went to last night. Had a very nice pasta dinner before heading back to the hostel. I wasn’t looking forward to my early start the next morning so I wanted an early night. By the time my laundry finished drying and I got it packed away and I was ready for bed it was nearly 11:30. A travel blog entry by alcatrav on Jun 05, 2014

We were first to breakfast this morning so we could make the 0840 bus to Tartu. This was a LuxExpress bus which was very posh! Classes are going well, just a lot of reading and I managed to get into the Russian class where I can ...

After looking at the more technical side of the factory we moved on to the historical museum fashioned out of the old beer factory from the 18th and 19th centuries. At the end we even got a taste test! Woot woot! The whole class was very happy about that. I think we tasted two different types of cider, a long drink and two beers. To my surprise I actually liked both ...

Happy Easter!

... that God is showing me a softer side of Tartu. I needed it. It gives me hope, and puts things in a better perspective. A perspective I'm working on having myself.

It was really hard to adjust to all the new experiences and obstacles of arriving and living here. It soon became easier just to put on blinders and go to class and stick to my introverted "American" routine of hanging out with my small group of new friends. Soon I still didn't feel like I was stepping out ...
