... buy daily tickets and it was an easy swipe through the gates at tube stations…definitely worth the money we paid for ease of getting around. Ending with a bang

It was still a long time until the fireworks to mark the end of the Thames Festival but there was lots on down by the river so we walked across the bridge at Westminster to South Bank.
The afternoon and evening were pretty long to be honest but we had a great time.

Central London
... along the towpath to finally get a tube from Bakers Street station. Lots of houseboats on the canal including a boat being punted along with a pianist on board ( think maybe getting one up on Venetian gondolas with no pianist). Just waiting for Tom to come home from work and then to have dinner at a local pub,'The Ship and Whale'. Love the names of pubs though many English pubs are closing.

Ostriches Can Run
... going to Paris, France! Just for a day trip, but nonetheless it will be an amazing experience. I know they hate Americans so Amy and I will be Canadians tomorrow. And to spice it up we are actually from Cuba so Spanish is our first language. So try to hate us now, France! Anyway, I can't wait to report on all of the **** we get ourselves into tomorrow.
