Our new goto stop off for KL. Cheap, clean, quite, convenient location and relaxed vibe along with helpful staff. Good internet available in all rooms it seems.

When I booked my flight to the Philippines, I had no idea if I would enjoy the country or not. My original plan was to see it all with the 30 day tourist visa I received on arrival. Turns out I like it here and with over 7000 islands, there's A LOT more to see and do. 30 days is not even close to enough time. So I have to go back. Word on the …

Next stop was the Grand Palace where out of pure luck the King of Malaysia was arriving with his fleet of many vehicles and although we were asked to stand well back I managed to get a cheeky selfie as his car passed us.
The final two stops were at the war memorial which houses the largest free standing brass memorial in the world and independence square where the tour guide told us numerous times (in fact he ...

... we went the right way. Once the bus had stopped we were in some dark allley I'm calling it the smelly, dark alley because it was a smelly, dark alley. In the end we started to climb up the long staircase into the shopping centre. When we got up to the top we were very tired due to the amount of stairs. To fix that feeling we both got ice cream for 1 ringgit ( around 30 cents ). We went for a walk up one way but it was a dead end so we went back to the other end of ...

I wanted the photos of the Towers at the top of this post, but I am using the iPad to write my entries, and the program I use will not let me position the photos. Another day I went to see the Kuala Lumpur (called KL). It is used for communication purposes and has an antenna that reaches 1,381 feet in the air. It was built in 1995. The tower has stairs and an elevator to the top where there is ...
