Wells
This morning Graham and Christine (old family friends of the Eads) joined us for breakfast. It was a full house with Nicky, Ben and Abigail also staying. Poor Ben was all upset when he had to go off to school. Must have felt like he was missing out on all the fun. We headed over to Wells markets and wandered over to feed the ducks and swans in the moat. I never get tired of visiting Wells Cathedral. It's so pretty. It was freezing again today and I thought for sure ...
Nicky's 40th in Bath
Manic morning with Nicky's birthday. Ben had to leave for school at 8:15am and we were rushing to eat breakfast so that Nicky could open her presents. Ben and Abigail gave her pyjamas and a dress pillow for her bed, and Geoff & Jen re-decorated her bedroom as their present to her. We gave her a new gold watch with diamonds around the face. She was chuffed. After the school run, Nicky, Jen, two of Nic's friends, and myself went to Bath for the day. We parked ...
Weston-Super-Mare
Today was another gorgeous day with clear blue skies and sunshine. We jumped in the car after breakfast and headed to Weston-Super-Mare. Took about 40mins, we parked and walked along the seafront, before walking out the pier. The kids had a ball on some of the rides (simulator, and dodgems). We even all went on a 4D ride which was really fun. Was really cold ...
Glastonbury & Shepton Mallet

Steve took Jonah down to his old Rugby club to catch up with some old friends, before joining us back home for lunch. Jen and I headed over to Shepton Mallet again in the afternoon to pick up some Xmas presents from Argos. Nothing much else happening today. Only other thing to note was the kids sleeping in till 7am. Think we're over the jet ...

Around this time, a ...
