    ... off the baton to the team mate, who would then walk around one time, hand back the baton to the team mate, etc. So, in total you would have to walk twice around the deck for a total of 4 times. In the first heat, one couple was extremely fast. I knew that this was not going to be a walk in the park.

    They now drew names for the second heat. Lo and behold, they drew Rich's name and then mine!! We were going to be the only husband ...

    ... I've written most of them but haven't had a chance to add photos as most are on my camera and oftentimes I don't have access to a computer (too bad iPhones don't have SD card slots!)

    A few life lessons I've learned so far:
    - don't pack stuff you think you'll need in a few months (aka sunblock). You won't use it. Plus it's so accessible anywhere (especially if it's already a European brand like Vichy!)

    ... Night 14 - I didn't write, cause I couldn't. We were waiting in front of Rodriguez trying to get there in daytime but we winds were pretty strong, so we kept on doing something between 5 and 7 knots, without sails up. We started throwing warps out to slow us down, to not hit the island before we could see it. That night it rained and rained, it's never been so dark before. Normally you see at least a star ...
