... cyclists at 100km/h using the cycle lane, known back home as the hard shoulder. Then there was a pickup stopped just after a slip road, clearly missed his exit so he just went straight up the grass to get back to the slip road! Stopping at green lights is common to check for any cross traffic as stopping at red lights is less common. Crossing the road seems to be a case of just wonder infront of cars and hope they stop. ... give finger prints but not mum - how suspicious do I look??? After this a combination of wheeling and buggy and aero train to the hotel. Mum was wheeled right into our room. ( then the chap expected a tip, no local money so apologised - he said he could drop back in the morning but we didn't see him - happy to tip him if I could - I'm sure they are underpaid). ... importance and diversity.  Our first day in KL we were lucky enough to walk through a large market in China Town, strung with traditional Chinese lanterns where vendors hawked all sorts of cheap goods. We were all given chocolate coins and Mum and Dad got a lucky number thing. To finish, we had to partake in a Prosperity Toss, a raw fish salad containing fruit and noodles etc. using large chopsticks everyone had to mix it by picking some up and dropping it again before it was divided and we were expected to eat this horrible salad which smelt like honey and fish.

... Taman Alam park. The park is a mix of forest, some grassland, a mangrove and numerous man made lakes set up as nesting habitat for migratory birds. Over the two hours at the park we did not see another person. It was quiet except for the sounds of nature.
