... we are heading next weighs on my mind as we are usually practical travellers (I hate that word its so pretentious but it will have to do) who like to have a defined path set out.

Traveling with no real itinerary will take some getting use to, while I do like the idea of spontaneity, I’m far to practically minded and the biggest challenge for me over the coming months will be to let go and go with the flow.

At the moment that's the biggest challenge.

It's Charles. As usual, I'll start with our eventful trip from one town to the next. We booked a bus from Pinang to Kuala Lumpur through our hotel. It's supposed to be about a 4 hour ride. ... flavoured milk, and slushies did help! Our stress was added to with the anticipation of our upcoming flight to Sumatra. We had tickets to fly out of KLIA 2 airport at 7:30am. So today is our last full day in KK before we fly to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow morning.... We didn't really have anything planned today apart from get a few jobs sorted and eventually have to make the effort to pack our suitcases. So after a nice lie in we paid for the hotel...for 8 weeks it had cost us just over £250....not bad at all considering we've had no problems with the room, lovely friendly staff ...
