... to the trip so far was again repeated here, that's the constant piles of rubbish wherever a camp/rest point is established, including our latest stopping point, where i had to dodge numerous piles of human faeces to sit on a rock that offered great views of the two craters. ... Woke Natalie up for her birthday breakfast and a huge plate of prepared fresh fruit while she opened her few birthday cards. Then we went down to the beach to snorkel. The coral is great here and there are so many more tropical fish than in the Thailand seas, we even saw a vicious sea snake! We grabbed a sun lounger and had afternoon rum and cokes in the sun. ... and I spent a lot of time in the water. Once you swam out far enough the swallow sandy bottom dropped away to coral. Hundreds of fish darting in and out of the underwater sculptures kept me entertained for hours. If you swam out further the sea bed dropped. It went from being 6 ft deep to pure darkness.
