... We wanted to go on one of the boat tours but we couldn't see any running. A little worried, we went into the cafe to ask. Apparently the last boats for the season were yesterday! Bit annoying but we still would have come anyway just to look around. The scenery was amazing, the ice bergs slip down from the glacier and sit in the lagoon before melting or getting washed out to sea. Apparently the lagoon changes daily. ... my side, I just floated around and relaxed, it was fantastic. Having reached the safety of Reykjavik harbour last night where we were sheltering from the effects of hurricane Cristobel, this morning we moved to the quay whilst we were having breakfast in our state room.
