Flew in to Keflavík airport as the golden sun rays blasted through the Icelandic clouds. First glimpses of Iceland look hostile and rugged, the blue sky and strong golden rays made it look extremely inviting. Walked outside to be greeted by a very smily mum and a crisp cold hug from Iceland. Iceland's currently experiencing a heat wave of temperatures up to 19 degrees. To George and I who are now a climatised to high temperatures had a shock.
