Checked in and tossed my things in my room which was quite austere by North American standards. I have read that Icelandic hotel accommodations are quite basic, which is true of this hotel at least. Scant furniture, no closet or dresser and an old fashioned table top TV but free wifi and it is clean and tidy. After making it slightly ...

We spent today walking around the city. We were able to visit the Phallus Museum, a church, the harbour, a zoo, family park, and of course, the pool.

We walked by a huge stadium where some kind of soccer match was starting up and people were rushing in - ...
