Farewell Braii
Thursday - We made bllod lollies first thing with the blood that eugene saved us from his last kill. We then helped clean lemur falls before relocating the Servals into Mickey and Mistys old enclosure. To kill the last 15 mins b4 tea time we went to see our favourite boy Bambam. Meerkat Time
... breakfast and a drive south via Oudtshoorn & an ostrich feather duster (this is ostrich country big time).
Down through Outenique Pass and across George before taking a left on to the old road at Wilderness and a 3 pass mainly gravel road drive to Knysna where we succed in finding the real fish shop & buy some Kingklip for dinner.

... so he soon stopped :) That evening we had a farewell Braii for the interns Kim and Demi at the house with Craig, Garrett, Adrian and Garth. After a coffee we then drove back into Oudtshoorn to the Cango Ostrich farm where we luckily managed to get on a tour just before the huge groups of tour buses appeared. We were told about the incubation process, met a few Ostriches, stood on the Ostrich eggs and fed them before watching the 'Ostrich Jockey's' riding them. You can try riding the Ostriches but you have to be under 75kg's so I was too heavy and Katy thought it looked a bit mean for ...
