Quiet day, just us. The four of us went for a walk along the seafront in the morning, it was very cold and windy. Marni, wanted to wear her sparkly skipping shoes. What to do? We went with it, if it gets her on her feet, who are we to push for the winter boots that will keep her feet warm? So two pairs of sock and sparkly skipping shoes it was. ... We enjoyed some canapés washed down with some sparkling wine, and listened to a speech from the Captain as well as watching a presentation showing the future FOCL cruises. Then it was time to go to lunch. :-)

Afterwards we went back up on deck to do another five laps, and we noticed it was quite a lot colder, and there was a strong wind blowing at the port side bow.

It only took five minutes to get to Durham railway station where we were pleased to see that our train to Liverpool Lime Street was on time.
