  • There are lots of market areas with small boutique shops. We visited the public market which had a lot of fresh produce and a shop called Roast. It roasted meat and sold it in sandwiches or burgers or you could have it on it's own. We went back there for dinner and had roast pork with crackling in a bowl with kale ceaser salad.

    That evening we treated ourselves to a fish restaurant meal...

    I ordered some lovely mussels and clams..
    Just started to get stuck in and it started to whinge about her spicy calamari..

    So being such a kind hearted soul I swapped with her and she enjoyed her meal... enough said...

    ... a table. That proved a good move as we were joined by another couple, who proved to be the owners. They spent a lot of time talking to us, checking the staff and customers were happy and then asking us about our experiences with restaurants in Canada. We had excellent service!!!

    The only problem we have faced here is the internet connection which is one of the weaker ones we have had, but it is good enough to finish the blog for today before ...
