Much better flight with air France. Food was hot and quite tasty. Watched a couple of films, read a book and slept a little and was back in Paris. Ears blocked though which is very frustrating. Made it home Much as it was when we left. Flowers still in vases - just 6 weeks ...

Part of it was being a little lost, and part of it was actually driving really deep into the country. We finally got to the floating markets. I did not know this before, but the ones we were at were very touristy. They charged 3000 bhat for just the market boat, that's $100! I knew either way that this was a rip ...

... the air conditioning indoors. Two super large Singha beer never tasted so good. The taxi ride back was a different story. Many meter taxis did not want to take the long drive to our hotel near the airport and now we know why...rush hour is stopped traffic hourS and the ride back took over two hours. I was snoring in the backseat! Happy to say we made it through Bangkok without having to take a nap...but guaranteed I am setting the alarm for tomorrow ...
