    ... hours in the Museum of Liverpool (free entry) which was very interesting and worthy of a longer visit. The fog cleared a little bit as we headed to Lime Street station to start the trip home via Manchester and Sheffield so it did allow us to see the mythical 'Liver Birds' atop the Liver Building overlooking the River Mersey. A return visit to the city will be had at some point as there is plenty more to see and do and maybe have a side trip to Southport ...

    ... our hotel quite easily and checked in. This is the only hotel where we have to pay for parking - however, when we check out we are entitled to a 20% discount on the parking. The car is parked a block away at the parking building attached to the Liverpool Football Club arena. The hotel is situated at Albert Dock in a former warehouse. The Albert Dock area has been transformed into a fabulous tourist precinct with restaurants, museums and pedestrian areas.

The post game transport options were crowded and lacking so I decided to try and walk off the beers, curry wurst and chips so I made the 5km walk back into town. After a few more beers with my Egyptian roommates (not sure if they were being naughty Muslims or were Christian Egyptians????) it was time for bed after ticking off yet another items of my life ...

    ... and coffee opera cake, raspberry choux, and macaroons with tea or coffee. It was a very nice environment to relax, listen to a string trio and enjoy some awesome food. Looking around you felt like we had gone back in time in both the baths and the Pump room. We made our way back to the car, ready for another 3 hr long drive to Chester, which was made longer with at least another hr of Friday night traffic. By 10:00pm we had finally arrived in Chester, ready for a good nights ...

    ... Jesus and Christianity. The theme was OMG! What if He's listening? It focused on answering the question who is this God we are constantly calling out to? I really enjoyed the opportunity to get to know more people from CU and some newbies as well. The two bookend events turned out to be my favorite.
