      ... to winter is that the zoo is only open til 4pm... Still, I don't think I missed anything, and my photo importer is telling me it has 232 new ones to process today, so I must have seen a fair bit!

      After catching the bus back to the city, I had another wander around, mainly admiring the architecture and noting down places to come back and explore properly tomorrow. I stopped at a bakery for some snacks and a chemist for some cold and flu tablets. I'm not sure if ...

      Today sees us leaving Witton Gilbert with Passports! Vicky took us to Durham Station and then we caught the train and bus to Manchester Airport! The whole journey went very smoothly, with the exception of lugging large cases up and down stairs at York but hey ho! Very early in Airport - 1hr before gate opened. Looking forward to being frisked by Si but he's in Teneriffe! Both well and now waiting for Gate to open and signing off for next ...

      ... 160;inside scoop.  Even though it started hailing/raining during our tour, it turned out to be one of my favorite days.  Instead of walking into the city, we walked the Chester City Walls.  These walls circle around the entire city.  They were built by the Romans in the 1600s (or somewhere around that time) and are still in tact today.  It was a beautiful walk and a new perspective of Chester I hadn't experienced ...
