    Today we got a late start because we had to drive to our starting point from Omaha in the morning. We said goodbye to family and took off.     Ok sleep last night in spite of having only one earplug. It helps to be tired and to have lots of white noise by way of the AC. Got up early and got in a short workout before hitting the road. Took a bit of hunting around to find diesel for the VW this morning but eventually found some.
