... an image I've seen hundreds of times in photos and yet I see him 'in the flesh/stone' and am awed by the magnitude of the sculpture. Siena is a small town not far from Firenze. Today is a legal holiday and most museums and indoor venues are closed. We decided that today would be a perfect day to visit Pisa and the Tower.
