I am not sure this carriage has ever seen this number of people on it, it grinds its way across countryside getting up such a sideways sway that only the odd straight bit of line stops the train swaying off I reckon. Our time here in Prague passed much too quickly. We plan to return ...

Don't let the name fool you--the municipal house isn't the seat of local government but rather a cultural center. Concerts are held frequently in three of the building's "halls." Our enthusiastic guide took us through the grandest of these, Smetana Hall, plus several ornate rooms/salons with paintings and ...

... way: I loved staying with ‘insiders‘ who could give you a bit more insight to the city and culture, much more than staying in a hostel.

  • NZ is viewed as a ‘far away paradise‘. When you mention you’re from NZ, people’s eyes light up and they share their hope to one day visit - but it is so far away, and so ...
