... to cooking. She said hi to Christy and I and we smiled and said hi back. I joked about her monopoly on food services out here. She commented on how nice we were and that we must not be from around here (which I found hilarious BTW).

... br> We had a bagel at Big Bang Bagels in Fernie and they, and the coffee were mighty fine. The crossing into the USA was without hassle, much to our surprise. Pleasant drive through Idaho, went over Ryans Bridge, into Washington and arrived at Spokane in the evening. Had a good value dinner at the Mirabeau Park Hotel - half price bottle of wine - ...

... tent and set it up, and then made dinner. It was a quiet evening, sitting around the campfire and resting from the long day of driving.

In the morning, we packed up and then took a short walk down to the river. We found a beautiful wood bridge. We took some pictures, soaked in the morning sun, and then headed back to the car. We were on our way to Glacier National Park in Montana.
