... we were off to Spokane to check out Riverfront Park while also on the hunt for groceries and a yarn shop. I did some research before we left Missoula and found a place called Paradise Fibers that we absolutely had to check out. ... and walked down to the lake, you can swim in it too, which I can imagine would be really nice on a hot day.

There were lots of other relatives there for dinner as well, so it was good to have a chat to everyone, dinner was really nice again. I also really like how the sun sets so late, especially because of daylight saving time, it wasn't until about ten that that sun went down, and everyone started to go inside. It had been a really nice evening.

... and get the circulation pumping again.  We walked into town, which seemed to be made completely of brick and found an Irish bar to eat dinner at - Wayne was having a craving for bangers and mash.  After dinner we went across the road to the park and walked to the viewing points for the Spokane Falls and the Dam, all very scenic.  Before we left the park Wayne did his stretches.  Then it was back to the motel for a good nights ...
