Sarah awoke way before the two alarms we had set and made the wake tea then into the shower, got dressed and when both of us were ready we locked up our room and again across the road to get the shuttle bus to Gatwick. It was then we met our first Hurtigruten travellers a couple of ladies from Jersey! We think travelling companions they also were up much early than expected. The cold is no good for ...

... beach and into Swannage but on the second day I just gave Treacle a couple of shorter walks because I needed to do some serious planning about my proposed trip to Spain. Originally I had thought I would sail to Spain around December 28th, but I hadn't realised that the sailings are limited in winter and all the dog-friendly cabins are booked until the end of Feb. So I am now waiting to see if there will be a cancellation. I have planned where I ...
