    ... took my time going down some of the smaller streets.

    You can see that some owners/renters take a lot of pride in their property's appearance.

    I got the gypsy bus back to the apartment for the last time around 6:30. A thunderstorm started around 11pm and I sat up to watch the lightning reflecting off the buildings across the river. It was a nice way to go to sleep.

    Unbelieveable but this was my last weekend here in NYC, because the next one I'm going to drive to DC and at the beginning of the ensuing one I'll already have left to Boston. kind of leisure sighseeing-stress ;) However, I spent the last two days walking through Manhattan and Staten Island.     Today it was a light breakfast in our Suite in Washington, check the luggage, and then off to Dulles International Airport in a Town Car, very nice drive.

    The flight to New York was in a small jet, a little bumpy, but not bad, and then we arrived at JFK. Collected our luggage and then into a cab for the trip into the City......thanks Danny for the info.....flat rate cab was a great idea. Lots of ...
