I even bumped into two girls I'd shared a room with in Port Macquarie, tried to catch their eye to just say hello and they just avoided all eye contact and blanked me. Wait.. What was happening? Up until this point everyone just wanted to speak and have fun and get to know you, and now I'd entered into this alien world of unsociable, unwelcoming and downright unfriendly inhabitants. ... good here as well, you can see the Milky Way really clearly. We went on a day trip to Nimbin on our second day. It's amazing, it's so small here yet we keep getting lost!! Finding it hard to navigate around, there are lots of little alleys and pathways that keep taking us off the main track. Basically you always get back to where you want to go but you can go like 6 different ways! ...

Blissful Byron Bay!

... of Australia, where Emma spotted a turtle popping its head out of the water. The view was absolutly incredible. A further climb led us to Cape Byron lighthouse an old syle lighthouse with a fort like structure. Our journey home we decided to take the winding road and made it back onto the footpath to the beach. The tide further in, we ended up climbing over rocks to avoid the crashing waves. A well deserved rest and re-charge of our batteries for ...
