... less than ideal here. What I thought was a minor side road, was actually the main thoroughfare around the island. It is narrow, filled with potholes and really skinny speed bumps that made our car bounce into the air...poor Alston in the back seat felt the brunt of the speed bumps, but she was a good sport! Cars barely have room to squeeze past each other and we were very thankful that we had the Daihatsu and not a Suburban! Just when you think that the car coming in ...

          Set Sail on Norwegian Pearl

We woke up and had some breakfast while watching TV. We were both pretty excited to get e day started. We left our hotel room and checked out around 12:00pm. The concierge got us a cab that took us straight to The Port of Miami. Our cab driver must have been the dispatch as well as he was constantly taking phone calls and sending others towards hotels and areas for pick ups. He also had one good music playing which was good too. They were talking about our cruise on the ...

Of surprisingly good health the next day, we get up before heading to little Havana in Miami, now iam not going to South America, but this is as good as, nobody speaks English. We go to a Cuban restaurant, the food was good, yes. But we always seem to have the same problem when the bill arrives. We can't work out who is due what. They add on extortionate prices for a service tax and taxes, it's a joke!! We spend around 30minutes trying to work it out before we give ...

... and cleared immigration and found our ride to the airport. The flow here is strange you go to a terminal sign in print bag tags and boarding pass and then go to a human to weigh the bags then roll them to another area to check them in. We then headed to security and got re routed to another checkpoint and then waited for an hour to clear TSA so much for prescreened expedited status. Well now we are walking around ...

          Day 2 -At Sea Day

A travel blog entry by rexti on May 06, 2013

Today we were at sea all day. We walked the ship, checking out various points of interest. Finding the game room, we sat down for rousing game of Mexican Canasta. At dinner tonight we met a couple that has been married for 67 years. Jim flew fighter planes out of Burma during WWII. He ended up flying 127 missions. This is incredible with the survival rate of a maximum of 25 missions. The show tonight was a comedian who was quite ...
