... back to their house and pinned the ears back. It was great catching up, John and Sandra are very gracious hosts.

Far too many bottles of wine later it was 1.00am and with no more world issues that needed solving we hit the sack, knowing there was probably going to be a sore head or two the next day.

It was a literary day! Our first stop was Anne Hathaway's family cottage outside of Stratford-upon-Avon, and although we were there for the history of her family and her later marriage to William Shakespeare, it may have been the surrounding gardens that stole the show. Our extended stay in Llangollen meant we had to bypass Shrewsbury and head straight to the Ludlow Touring Park in the most delightful weather. . . which seems to be following us. Seem to remember Bruce and Kathy saying the same thing. Maybe the good weather follows Australians in motorhomes.
