Bucolic day in English countryside

... There is also a yacht club, but not many were out today. Swimming isn't allowed. The reservoir covers a surface area of 72 acres, and holds 204.6 million gallons.
We returned home for me to do washing, Sue finish mowing lawn etc.
Just as we were considering the evening meal Vanessa, next door neighbour came and invited us to enjoy a drink with her and husband Martin in their back garden, which we did, then returned home for our meal.

Fancy a round? Yes. (Golf and/or drinks).

... the cricket ones are out of sequence and I'm not sure how to change them, sorry)
And another middle of nowhere cricket ground but with sight screens and covers the envy of many clubs.
Did someone mention golf? At the Cleeve Hill Golf Club walkers get right of way. The course is littered with walkers as numerous trails cross here and there are heaps of walkers, dog walkers and trail bike riders and the few golfers are certainly outnumbered.

... local beer, Harry's Heifer, smooth! We both agree we didn't have a bad meal on the entire cruise. We had looked up some eating possibilities on TripAdvisor, but there were so many options everywhere we stopped, we started exploring. We never hit a Subway or McDonalds or Greggs, or Starbucks. We can do that at home.
