    Tuesday 16 June...
We woke to stormy skies and heavy rain in Phuket Town but braved it for a mile hike up to the view point. We headed up there and enjoyed the view of the grey skies and misty town from atop the viewing platform. Such a shame about the weather today as it would have been a lovely view on a bright day.
We headed back down to the hotel and got our bags and headed for the bus station to get ...

... to our boat to find an amazing ‘completed’ project – our full canvass enclosure in place! (PICTURE) We both could not believe the quality of the workmanship and the pride taken in fitting the enclosure around the cockpit and in particular the clear windscreen complete with zippered panels for access to the sheets. Our final day in Phuket.
Had a leisurely morning - Karin, Mark and I headed for the beach massage after breakfast. Check out at 12 - so packed up then met the others at the cafe for lunch and farewells.
    Many happy memories created.

We were then picked up at 4pm and headed for the airport for our 8pm flight to Singapore- then Brisbane.

... beach. The beach was divided by the airport and we could not walk back the entire 10km or so even of we wanted.

At this point, we decided to leave the beach and look for a cab back to Nail Yang. Across from a Holiday Inn, we came across a cab stand and the guy wanted 700Bh for the ride back. We thought that was overpriced and decided to set out to find the main highway and flag down a cabbie.
