... so much food, I decided to go for a walk on the beach. The rain had stopped but it was still windy so I wanted to see the huge waves in the ocean. Most people stay away from the beach when the weather is not lovely - I tend to head straight to it. I love the wind at my face and the smells of the ocean when a storm is brewing. I walked along the ocean until it started getting dark and then headed back to the hotel.

Overall, we had a great day!!!!

It’s not stuff we’re guaranteed to encounter, but it’s really good for us to know about and take into consideration. Alison mentioned that we’re going to be kept in Old Havana as much as possible because it’s like Cuban Disneyland, and I think ...

... He was an Indian guy being yelled at by a homeless woman and we weren’t sure what to do. Eventually we just jumped in even though he basically ended up calling us racist for hesitating to get into the taxi. Thanks guy! And then, once we’d finally arrived, he told us he couldn’t actually accept credit cards so I had to run two blocks away to an ATM in a Seven Eleven and get the cash. And he kept the meter running the whole time. THANKS GUY!
