Well I have been back for over a week now. This extraordinary experience is beginning to fade now I am in this new chapter.

I am so grateful and humbled by the whole experience. As I spend Christmas with cherished friends and dear family, I realise just how lucky I am.

The support I have had from really wonderful people who are kind and caring also humbles me. This entry is for them to say a huge THANK YOU.

      HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.

      SEE YOU NEXT TIME.....;)

My best advice is to keep your wits about ...

The number of bikers killed through car drivers not looking and using that excuse must be about 90% of all accidents. I finally let this clown go and i headed onwards to Newcastle. All i can say is I hope that was a one off near miss and that the rest of my trip goes smoothly. Being on a bike in this terrible wet and windy weather is dangerous ...

... After the tour we had a light lunch at the cafe then drove onto Durham. The A1 was diverted at Berwick on Tweed via the A682 to where it joined the A1 just before Newcastle. Very nice farming areas with lots of hay making and sheep. Found the accommodation but no meals Sunday so had to walk 10 mins to a hotel. On coming back to the inn we had a great conversation with people in the ...
