St Andrew's, the Lake District and The Beatles

With our stay in Crail in Scotland we were able to get a bus into St Andrew's. Known for its famous golf course and university, it also has the ruins of one of the biggest medieval cathedrals in Europe. St Andrew's was beautiful and quite historic. It was also windy and we would imagine probably close to freezing in winter. In order to get to our next major destination (The Lake District) we needed a car. So we took the 3hr bus trip to Edinburgh, saw Jimeoin at the ...

... I have travelled to Oxford, Cleethorpes and Scotland to name just a few. Despite all my efforts, it will always be a challenge to see everyone so I take this opportunity to say farewell and good luck with the year ahead.

From this moment onwards, my adventure truly begins and there will be more entries to be written. How regular those entries are I do not know yet so keep your eyes peeled.

Woke up and we were going to go out shopping with one of the ladies I met at the wedding (it's one of Julia's cousins) but we walked round to Nadine's (Julia's daughter) house as she has the internet and went to email her, but we decided not too as neither of us could be bothered. Nadine sorted out my train ticket so I sent a quick email to billie telling her I'd be home tomorrow night. Then she emailed me back "Nat I'm not very well you need to catch a taxi from ...

    England day 3

A travel blog entry by natalierose on Aug 03, 2014

After we woke up about 1.30pm, Julia and I were feeling very seedy. Both of us still felt drunk & tired. But Jo, one of Julia's cousins texted Julia "still on for a drink at the pub at 3pm" Julia texted back "no make it 4.30" so god we had to get our act together and go get ready for more drinking! We felt too **** to eat anything, so we both just had a bread roll. When we arrived there both Julia and I were taking it slow, but then at about 8pm one of Julia's nephews (not on our ...
