The End

A travel blog entry by aaronbevill on Aug 10, 2014

We decided to head home tonight and finish the trip. It's been an amazing few weeks. I've never felt like I've seen so much and been so exhausted from a trip. This will be a trip I remember forever. I've wanted to do a proper road trip since I was a child and it feels good to have finally done it. A few closing stats: 16 Days 14 states 5,170 miles 100 hours in the car 18 miles hiked 9 nights camping Hundreds of mosquito bites ......priceless The ...

Merle Haggard is the most famous of the many names I didn't recognize. Fun and enjoyable afternoon! We then spent the night singing and swinging in the downtown area. Very similar to Bourbon Street in NOLA but music is rock, country and honky-Tonk rather than Blues and jazz. Another ...

Nashville, what a treat you were! Troy and I aren't huge fans of country music but man did we have the best time and oh the Honky Tonks.

If you go to Nashville and aren't a huge country music fan you still must visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum the highlight was Elvis's solid gold 75 Cadillac which included a gold plated TV and a record player with an automatic changer, goes to show home much money Elvis had ...
