... we made our way back to hit the road again. Our destination this time was to head inland to 'Ballymoney' where the late but famous motorbike rider Joey Dunlop had a pub and memorial. After getting help off a postman we were soon having a half pint in his pub. We seem to think after viewing the photo's and memorabilia that swarmed the walls that we were served by his wife!! I will have to google when I get good internet to try and find out. We then went to see his memorial which ...

Saturday was spent relaxing around Larne. We went grocery shopping at ASDA, which is the UK variation of Walmart. After a nice jot around Larne, we finally arrived at their house, and had a good catch up chat and exchanged some ...

That was nearly the end of it, as I looked ahead past a feather flag and nearly missed the marker pointing right. Sharp turn negotiated and at 4.5k I was confident no bandit could catch me. 18.10 in first, with the BR closing, having passed the early leader, though 17 seconds behind. Should any of the above sound like racing, ...

... even more real having Neil with us, who's lived through some of this in his lifetime (he's 26). I found myself trying not to cry for most of the tour. To think how much of this I didn't know, or didn't really understand. Anyway, the tour lightened slightly once we visited the Peace Wall where we signed our names amoungst the likes of Justin Beiber and Rihanna. I'm so happy to see the progress that has been made in Northern Ireland, and that conditions have improved ...
