... I went back to the guest house to wait for my ride to the airport. All in all I am happy to have taken the opportunity to revisit Miri. I have such fond memories of this place and much of those memories remain. It has been fantastic catching up with friends from back then and to finally have been able to make my way to Bario. And yes, in all those years, I have missed Miri with good reason, and will probably continue to do so once ...

Smuggled booze, explored the island and even had the Sultan himself wave to us at a red light as he drove by. Not 'was driven by', he was driving himself in one of his 2000+ personal cars.

Brady tried to convince us to stay for a month and go on some 4x4 adventure trips and some hiking trips and we wish we could ...

... steep! It was well worth it when we got to the top as we got awesome views over the forrest. Hiked back down after a short break to catch the 2pm bus back into town. Met two travelers from the UK when we were waiting for the bus and we all shared a taxi to our hotel. Went to The Croods in 3D. It was a animation about a cave family and how there life changes. It was funny as and the special effects were awesome. Home for another movie! ...
