On our second day here we took a rickshaw up the coast to the small village of Agonda. Agonda is probably how Palolem was ten years ago with a long, quiet beach and fewer places to stay. We had thought about staying here but decided against it because it is one of the last places in India where endangered olive ridley turtles lay their eggs.
