    ... what had happened, she in turn phoned Canterbury and they confirmed that said ****** dash cam had been purchased from them, we left the store clutching yet another gift receipt, hmmmmm what can I buy ;-). Anyway on the road by 12 ish stopping for lunch and arrived home by 4pm. I had to pop into town to pick up a few things so left Andy to unpack the van :-) . 5 loads of washing later, let's ...

    ... was our wedding Anniversary! He didn't say it was 10 days ago! She gave us a free glass of champagne. I got all emotional...I didn't know I was such a good actor...Helen Mirren has nothing on me! The meal was absolutely lovely, and we tried something we have never even heard of...caper berries...Dave hated them, I loved them. We left a tip because we felt Amelia deserved one.     ... Bournemouth city centre which lasts 75 minutes, is guided by a retired English gentleman who shows us all the main sights.

    Bournemouth's first resident in 1810 was Tregonwell whose wife loved the beach area and persuaded him to build a house there. He bought more property and buildings including the local pub, renamed Tregonwell Arms although there was no settlement there until 1937.

    ... I've had for years ... we have no idea if the hotel will dispose of it for us ... we hope so.

    Back to the hotel and to unpack my old bag and re-pack my new one ... I eventually finished this exercise around 7pm and after a quick change, we headed downstairs to meet up with Bob and Miriam who had just arrived. Soon after, three people saw us and asked if we were from the Cruise Critic site ... yes ... then joined us and a few mins later, another two people. We chatted ...

    1 comment's all over! What a four months I've had!
    27 cities in five different countries, travelling by Road, Track, Air and Sea via Plane, Train, Boat (speed, long and ferry), Tuk Tuk, Motorbike, Car, Bus, Buggy, Side Cart and Elephant(!) with some of my favourite people. It's been more than I could ever have wished for.
