Thailand Guest House Chiang Mai

Okay so today I was up and out of my accommodation by 8am. My plan was to see as much of the Sukhothai Historical Park as possible and then get out of Sukhothai. My transport problems, the general layout of the town and its demeanor hadn't exactly endeared it to me.

... a "Single track", which is just a dirt track probably created by a repetition of nutcases on bikes. It was steeper, hemmed in with thick trees and had large roots jutting out across it all the way down. This was a real challenge - some parts I had to go a little fast to make it over, but doing that on a steep hill can intice a tree-shaped punch in the head.

The "Night Bazaar" (as it is called locally) is a massive market selling everything from tacky gifts to T-shirts to antiques. Lomsak and Phetchabun Province, Thailand. Living for 3 nights in an old Thai lady's house with Chao, Qi and Ru. Damn, it's a boring town! But, with them riding bikes and motorbikes around the countryside was fun. Walking along river banks, and barbecued chicken at 6am everyday!!

... I was skinned alive! I think they will take a long time to heal. They hurt so much, even after they were bandaged. We walked all day, couple of asthma attacks, one girl started crying shortly into the trip. A seven hour bus ride in Thailand is not as luxurious as it might sound (believe it or not). Another good example though of how hospitable the people are in Thailand. Considering that seeing the old town would only cost 200b in total for a bus and a ticket, and they have drunk more than that in beer since I've been there.. its not really my scene.
