It's hard to believe that a week from today we will be on the plane and on our way! I've spent more time this week researching my third great-grandfather Charles Campbell, to see where exactly he came from on the Isle of Skye, but the information is very scarce. ... and Electricity tycoon, he went bust and the whole place ended up being taken over by the City ... who gave it to the Kiwanis club (something vaguely like Rotary) in the area who have run it as a tourist attraction ever since.

It is furnished with period stuff, and shows just what life was like for the wealthy in Edwardian Canada ... bloody great!

We woke ready to get active and organised and find out where we were. On reflection it may have been useful to have some sort of plan before arriving in Toronto , an idea of where we wanted to go, when and how long we wanted to stay might have helped but a couple of hours googling sorted this out.
