So my Air Canada flight sucked it was the first ever night flight i have taken where they did not provide blankets.

I could go on forever comparing back home and the Great North but to cut it shorter, here the biggest difference: Despite the months I have spend here, I am still trying to accustom to the casual clothing styles here... When not 'dressed up' for work, people here, free and easy, walk around in their sweatpants, t-shirts and sneakers. EVERYONE seems to own all sorts of running or sports shoes!!! It's insane! ... the uni students are preparing to board boats for the start of the Freshmen Week festivities.
Dinner is a visit to a great steak place named Barbarians. You know the steak is good when there are no sauces on the menu as they don't want to mask the flavour of the steak. It didn't disappoint! Melt in your mouth and very tasty with huge servings. Stacey's pork chop was the biggest I've seen so the pigs here must be huge.
... where my accommodation was and it was only about a 20 minute walk. The good news was the weather had done a complete reversal and it was now blue skies and sunshine.
I was finally going to stay at an actual backpackers. Yeah, that's right, I was gonna rough it. Well, sort of. I was actually staying in a private room with an ensuite at the backpackers as opposed to a dorm. No way was I staying in a dorm with a whole lot of snoring ...
