During our stay in Bagan we had passed by a small ****** looking airline company called Asian Wings that claimed to be a luxury airline, Steve and I joked about what luxury would look like from an airline in Myanmar. It turned out that our flight to Heho was through the this company so I guess the joke was on us. Our …

... combos that were very appealing.

From there I think we next went to Nampan village, the cigar and cigarette factory and boat building place where Mya Mya was surprised that none of us smoked but we still wanted to go here. After that we went to a silver jewelry making workshop (that had a shop as well) in Ywama village . I didn't buy any boats or cigars, but I did get a pair of earrings for Nikki there. It was interesting to see the ...

... stopping to look at an old
aircraft parked there. When it got too hot and we were somewhat lost, we
opted for a taxi ride to the large reclining Buddha.

Then we went on to Scott Market so as not to miss any of the main
sights. The market was pretty disappointing after all the others we had
seen so we didn't stay long. We came across Peter and Lily back at the
hotel so went for lunch with them at the Chinese restaurant. It was

but the prices have gone up. Due to low season i got a good deal, but i suspect i have the worst room at the front and its a little damp...but comfy beds, with nets, lovely hot showers, great breakfast, helpful and charming owners who can organise everything for you. Good choice.

Just spent 5 days at Teakwood Guest house. What a great experience. The room was large, clean and had a lovely veranda. Breakfast was wonderful. We found the family that owns the place to be very helpful and not at all pushy as some have reported. Highly recommend it.
