... Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbona, etc. Shelly and I went into a tiny Jimmy Choo store just to check it out, but no prices were on the shoes. I guess if you have to ask, you can't afford it! Another store was called Tods. The owner of Tods we learned is donating 18,000,000 Euros for a project to clean the colosseum. It seems like a low price to freshen up one of the seven wonders of the world. Over and over, we saw restoration projects that had been stalled for months or years ...

... Peter's. That also is mind boggling, there is SO MUCH inside there, you could pack a lunch and still not take it all in in one visit. Statues, paintings, gold, crypts. . . and lots of people.
After that, we were pretty much drained. We napped, then headed over to another important church in Rome. San Giovanni of Lateran. It was the St Peters before St Peters was built. It is from 318 I believe. (sorry no pics) The site of this church ...

Ahhhhh…calm waters at last. We slept very well despite the rolling platform we were on. We had an early wakeup call set up as the ship was arriving at 5:30am and would be docked at 6:30. We would be allowed to start getting off the ship at 7:30am once the customs work was done.
