Got stopped on the way back by Thomas who wanted to know if we wanted any Golden Apples. We had bought some from him at the beginning and really didn't like them, so we said no. He then tried to sell us a couple of grasshoppers made from palm leaves. Very clever, but we already had one. So then he just asked for money. I gave him a couple of dollars and he said he wanted more! Bloody beggars are haggling now!

... getting a little slick.
I had dinner at The Wharf, which is a nice restaurant a bit north of Castries. It has a great view of the ocean and it was very calming to sit there and listen to the sounds of the waves. I was also impressed with their banana ketchup.
I flew to St. Vincent and was picked up at the airport by a guy from the hotel. I really don't know why I got the deal I got on the hotel, but this is easily the fanciest place I've stayed all ...

... br> Mostly organised after a couple of days I turned to the island. Gros Inlet where I stayed, is nicely situated in Rodney Bay. My guest house is right in the middle of a local estate, which seems more real than the all inclusive resorts which litter the Rodney Bay.
