Hotel Chocolat.

... than mine! It seemed to contain all of the hard, crunchy, gritty bits from the dregs of both of our chocolate mixtures, possibly mixed in with some sand (if that's possible). We didn't even finish it, and both hoped that it won't be a barometer for our relationship.

After the tour we had a very rich chocolate themed lunch at the hotel restaurant, and then rolled ourselves home to rest and rub our full bellies. What a great holiday this has been so far!

... Piton is a popular climb, and the government runs an outfitter camp. You must go with a guide; one per two climbers. This is in case they have to split you up if one does not continue to the top.

The climb of Gran begins about 17 miles away from Soufriere. You can reach the base either by taxi to the fishing village of Anse Ivrogne, or by water taxi to the beach. Either way you are starting at sea level and it's 2800 feet straight up to the top. There is a "trail" ...
