... so complete, that on this visit, we just decided to walk around a bit and find a rock for my collection. I bought a couple of items at the open air market. Some necklaces made of buttons and of course, a little coin purse thing with 'Dominica' on it that I use to store my earrings when I travel. This island is very lush and the people are friendly.

... Our first actual stop was Titou Gorge, where we got to swim up the river that was used for some of the Pirates of the Caribbean scenes. The swim was short, but the current was pretty strong as it was raining and so the river was high. The gorge was gorgeous.

My most carefully laid out plans were undone by Coconuts, not the variety that grows on palms and can give you a headache by falling on your head, but the club that gave the students headaches of another variety.
