... a psychopath! He took us for the craziest but also most exciting ride of my life. We were thrown all over the place whilst he ploughed down almost vertical river banks, through muddy trenches and over trees. I'm not convinced it was at all safe and I'm certain he didn't have insurance but I had so much fun, it was insane! The second stop we made in Slovakia was for lunch in a tiny ski village. Although I'd have slept through a rock concert at that time. The only trouble is, the wi-fi doesn't reach to the second floor where we are, and no 3G, so internet access is only available if we sit downstairs. So I'm writing this over breakfast...buffet type for 3 Euros each, lots of bread, ham, cheese, cereals and juices. Not half ...

... greeted by the driver our apartment owner had arranged. This was our first encounter with a Hungarian and it was interesting to say the least. He didn’t speak much English nor did his ~13 year old son. The son opened the door for each of us saying "Please Madam, Please Sir." We tried to tell him we needed to go to an ATM to get some cash and thankfully he understood. It was cloudy that day and he said “sorry for water ...
